Finding Silence: Myanmar

2013

Looking for wisdom from ancient contemplative traditions, 30 days in Myanmar visiting monks and nuns on the streets, in monasteries and convents, and in caves. Learning the Theravada tradition, seeing how the Buddha tracked down enlightenment, & left behind a road map for those that wished to follow, both individually and as a society.

There is a video of a talk I gave on this body of work below the images.

Myanmar Gallery Talk

Zoom gallery talk I gave during the pandemic about the things I saw, felt, and learned spending time with the Buddhists in Myanmar. We were in Myanmar prior to the majority of the Rohingya genocide, and the latest coup, so they are not addressed in this talk.
